Warringah Council is keen to engage the community in the future vision for Dee Why Town Centre and in the preparation of the draft concept plan. The study area focuses on the centre of Dee Why including commercial, civic and residential areas as shown in the map.

At this early stage in the process, Council is offering an online forum to encourage community input and welcomes your ideas.

We are seeking your input to be considered along with future Council works and in consideration of private sector land use.

Open space is generally an area that is open to the sky and sunlight and can include courtyards, plazas, a town square, civic place, park, garden, seating, ponds, landscaping, shade.

Activities could include live performances, buskers, markets, public art.

Pedestrian links are short cuts people use when shopping, browsing or visiting various services. They are also footpaths beside the road, internal arcades that join one street to another, and anywhere people walk.

Open spaces are places where we can relax in away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, such as courtyards, civic squares, town plazas.
