Welcome to the Friends of the Bush online forum to seek feedback and input on the review of the current 'code of practice'. Anyone with an interest in the Friends of the Bush volunteer program can participate in this discussion forum and your input will assist Council in improving the Friends of the Bush Code of Practice.
Background
The Friends of the Bush Code of Practice (the 'Code') is the guiding document that provides direction to approximately 300 volunteers working in natural areas managed by Warringah Council. The Code was last formally adopted by Council on 25 July 2000, after community consultation and public exhibition.

Are you aware that safety of Volunteers working on public land is regulated by State Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Council’s Self Insurer Licence requirements?
