Are local residents being disturbed?
I live 100m from the oval and have had no issues apart from people parking in my driveway.
Sort out the parking problems and there shouldn't be any issues.

This question assumes a problem that does not exist.
I also live within 100m of the Oval and I knew it was there when I moved in (14 years ago). There are only 10 NRL games all year and I do not consider it to be a disturbance.

There are half a dozen night games, the latest of which are well over by 9-9.30pm,the crowd having well dispersed by 10pm. That's 6 or so nights still 10pm at the latest (some finish at 7pm), per year.
If anyone is hanging around the streets misbehaving after that, it is a police issue, not a council issue.
Whenever 15,000 people gather at an event there will be noise. And so be it. At least it's the happy noise of people cheering.

I am also a local and have not had issues. Is there a record kept of the number of alleged disturbances?
Perhaps compare the number of disturbances in ratio to the number of attendees? and weigh up whether it is in fact a growing issue or a little more security presence will solve.

Agree, I live very close to the oval and the game itself is not the problem, it's parking and traffic that needs to be fixed, maybe a bit more policing after the game, especially if the Eagles lost the game...(not too often!)

By the sounds of things having an alternative transport/parking system would help remove the cars etc from the seats. Hvaing an Olympic Park style bus service between 4 or 5 key locations would alleaviate the need for people to park close to the oval.
Also the Leagues being accomodated in a new commercail development at the ground would also remove fans from walking between the ground and the present location whihc the pathwya is in the middle of a residential areas

Brookvale Oval and football have been around for decades. If residents do not wish to be "disturbed" by football matches, why live by the oval?

I think this is an unfair comment. I know a number of people who have lived near the Oval for many decades, well before there were rugby league matches there.
