What sorts of community events should be held at the Oval and how can they be best managed?

There should be a wide range of community events at the Oval, including markets, outdoor cinema screenings, concerts, multicultural festivals, Anzac and Australia Day events, fun fairs for families, and Carols by Candlelight. There should also be areas available for use by the community for activities such as play groups, dance classes, and private functions, as had been in the past.

Some events could be managed by Council, and others could be organised through a lease arrangement, with concessions for community type activities.
